Percentage to CGPA Formulas

Which Formula Should I Use?
- CBSE (÷ 9.5): Use if you studied under CBSE board in India. This is the official CBSE formula for converting Class 10 and Class 12 percentage to CGPA.
- General (÷ 10): The most common formula used by many private universities and engineering colleges. Simple and widely recognized.
- VTU (÷ 10 after adding 7.5): Specific to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka. The offset of 7.5 adjusts for VTU's grading structure.
